HMRC (Her Majesty’s
Revenue & Customs) have just announced that from April 2010 UK tax payers
will only be able to reclaim tax going back four years, instead of the long
standing six year rule. This means that expatriates will have a third less tax
rebates available to reclaim and need to review and make tax rebate claims NOW
before losing out forever.

Sam Orgill of ProACT Partnership looks at medical changes effecting expatriates.
Make no mistake the EU project is about creating a pan-European state with uniformity throughout. This can have positives and negatives but will undoubtedly bring with it changes.
Already driving licences operate on an EU basis. Any EU driving licence can be used in another member state until its date of expiry. Only then must expatriates renew their licence in their country of residence.
